Mystic slow movement speed debuff doesn't synergize with spirit damage items?

Mystic Slow description says something along the lines of 'if target receives spirit damage, they get a movement slow'.

Mystic slow movement speed debuff does work on Warden ulti for example, but not on Mystic Shot item. If I hit a target
with Mystic Shot for example, you would think this would trigger movement speed debuff from Mystic Slow.

When carefully reading the item descriptions, there is no reason for the player to think this would not synergize with other items,
so my best guess is this is either a bug, or item description should be changed to something like 'if target receives ABILITY spirit damage,
slow their movement speed'

Agree, and there is a funny exception you might not know about. Torment Pulse triggers Mystic Slow. Pretty nice because you can get initiated on and still have an attack speed slow out to mitigate damage while stunned.
