Mystic Reverb damage does not give a stack of Escalating Exposure

It seems like it should, right? It's spirit damage? Knockdown doesn't do it either although I already made a post about that item.

Edit: It also doesn't proc Suppressor, Mystic Slow, or Bullet Resist Shredder. Like Knockdown, while the damage shows up as purple, the game does not seem to treat it as spirit damage.
