Mouse Movement and Abilities Freezing

I own a Logitech G213 Prodigy which has media controls, once I press the pause button my mouse movements are locked, I cant use any abilities and the mouse cursor is now visible. Pressing the pause button again fixies the issue. After testing in the sandbox I found that holding alt replicates the problems the only difference being that the alt button brings up the testing tools and the pause does not.
