All the cooldown times, damage amounts, etc. are just rough placeholders. I'm not intelligent enough to come up with a fully balanced hero, but I think these abilities would be neat. It should require a lot of communication, positioning, and timing to be most effective.
MORTEM

Link to an ally, sharing their damage and refreshing cooldowns.
Redirects 40% of an ally’s incoming damage to Mortem. On cast, both Mortem and the ally instantly reduce all active cooldowns by 3 seconds and gain +10% movement speed.
Duration: 5 seconds
Cooldown: 30 seconds
Upgrades
1-Point: +1 second duration
3-Point: Mortem heals for 50% of the damage he absorbs during the link
5-Point: Cooldown refund increases to 5 seconds
[2] Haunting Step
Phase forward through terrain and enemies, leaving behind a damaging trail.
Dash 10 meters. Mortem becomes invulnerable during the dash. The trail deals 20 base damage, scaling with Spirit Power.
Cooldown: 13 seconds
Upgrades
1-Point: +2 meters dash distance
3-Point: Trail lingers longer and can hit enemies more than once
5-Point: Trail deals 60 base damage and slows enemies by 30% for 2.5 seconds
[3] Bone Spire
Raise a character sized spiked cover that damages and weakens enemies nearby.
Summons a 300 HP wall for 8 seconds. Enemies within 4 meters take 25 base damage per second, scaling with Spirit Power.
Cooldown: 14 seconds
Limit: 1 active at a time
Upgrades
1-Point: Duration increased to 9 seconds
3-Point: Enemies within range suffer 20% reduced healing
5-Point: Can have 2 Bone Spires active at once
[4] Soul Reclamation (Ultimate)
Temporarily resurrect a fallen ally in spectral form.
Target an ally who died within the last 5 seconds and is within 5 meters. The ally is revived in Spectral Form, under their control:
Is at full health
Deals full damage
Takes 25% more damage
Cannot capture objectives
Can be targeted with Dread Pact
Duration: 10 seconds
Cooldown: 120 seconds
Upgrades
1-Point: Duration increased to 12 seconds
3-Point: Spectral Form gains +20% movement speed
5-Point: If the ally gets a kill during Spectral Form, they respawn at 20% HP
