Mirage's animations were "stuck" for several minutes after using his Tornado ability

Disclaimer: I'm having trouble downloading the replay for this match. This makes it difficult to analyze how this bug occurred, or at the very least grab screenshots and video clips, so I'll try to elaborate as much as I can through text. I'll make further attempts to download the replay, and if I'm successful, I'll made an addendum.

During one of my matches today (Match ID: 37122800), the Mirage on my team used his Traveler ability soon after unlocking it, but upon arriving at his destination was stuck in the teleporting pose. We were in a Discord call together, along with another teammate, and all three of us noted this bug, meaning it wasn't a purely visual glitch.

While stuck in this state, he could not dash without jumping first, and his player model blocked his view, hindering his gameplay. He attempted to use "Traveler" again, to see if that would fix it, but to no avail. It was only several minutes later, while in the jungle area, that he used Tornado. This reset his state and allowed him to continue playing normally.

The "how" of this bug is beyond me, with my lack of game development knowledge and inability to access the replay. If I could hazard a guess--- I recall his teleport destination was partially inside of a wall, as his teleportation target (myself) was playing defensively near the rear of our team's Walker area. Perhaps, while the game was making sure he wouldn't get stuck inside of the wall, it didn't update his state?
 
Finally got the replay downloaded (I was getting a "partial decompression failure" error due to having mods installed. Deleting my mods and verifying the install fixed the issue) so I'd like to issue a few corrections to this bug report. I've updated the thread title to be accurate, as well.


The *true* culprit of this bug was not him using Traveler, but his death immediately before it (at 10:28 in the replay). He activates his Tornado only a handful of frames before being killed by a Yamato on the enemy team. This triggered his "ability used" voiceline (and likely set the "state" that he was stuck at for the next few minutes), but did not get any further than that. In fact, the game didn't even consider the ability used, as it was still off of cooldown when he respawned (at 10:49 in the replay).

The use of Traveler that we assumed caused the glitch (at 11:20 in the replay) was nearly half a minute after it began. Whoops.

During the following minutes, several animations seem to override this glitched state, or at least it's forced animation, for a few seconds. Sliding, dashing, ziplining, mantling, light/heavy melee attacks, reloading-- after these animations finished, Mirage is returned to his strange hover.

When Mirage used Tornado again (at 16:46 in the replay), it activates properly, fixing the bug.
