Mina gaining extra bats than intended due to Damage Amp

when using items that give damage amp (such as Escalating Exposure and Arctic Blast shown in the video) Mina will gain extra bats when proccing Love Bites.
Each individual item only gives an extra +2 bats, but when combined can potentially gain more. With Escalating Exposure, Tankbuster, and Arctic Blast I was able to gain between 6-12, with a mysterious +14 that I have only gotten once and have been unable to replicate.
Additionally, Tier 3 Love Bites increases it to 8-12 bats per proc.

other items like Crushing Fists and Lightning Scroll (very unlikely due to how it works though) could also potentially give extra bats, but I have not tested it currently.

Could it be that the proc loops and happens multiple times because of a large dmg burst ?
So the cooldown activates but only after the proc is triggered multiple times instantly. Funny that it sums everything nicely up like some sort of untested side-effect.

that would make sense if it were only tankbuster but EE and arctic freeze just give spirit amp so im unsure
