"Melee" on gamepad resets camera pitch

If it's intentional, here's why that's bad. Binding to Q as a workaround causes frametime stutter.

For the record, my game doesn't actually look like you're staring at the sun; not sure if that's a steam recording, deadlock, or driver issue.

Here's footage of frametime stutter; UI glyphs and mixing keyboard + gamepad inputs are the cause. If this is fixed, then the game would be playable on gamepad as some dedicated binds are missing in SIAPI.
