Melee is often not registering despite punching straight through models and playing the melee hit sound effect

I'm on 60, 80 ping peak, I am literally punching straight through enemies, I am hearing the sound effect but nothing happens.
This is happening way too often, whatever you did with melee it has completely broken the system.

The system was always broken. Before, you could get hit while you are 10 meters away on your screen.
Now it just favors the defender.

Have been experiencing the same thing as of today, due to the patch trying to fix getting hit by melee while far away from the enemy.
I have probably had +10 times in a game on Shiv in which my heavy melee does not register.
Previously while playing it would happen maybe once as the defender against a heavy melee, that it registered while the enemy is far away from me.
Feels like the hit registration is worse now, considering it happens more often but to the attacking side.

Just had an Abrams game, I think maybe 25% of my melee registered even though the melee hit sound effect played

Yeah, sometimes when server is with red flag (seems connected), some keys don't registry, skill and punch, it's like you never press it.

30ms in argentina happens way less then in Santiago with 70ms....

Damn, 70ms sucks.... let me cap the ping allowed to matchmaking?

I'm getting both tbh, punching right through people, and dashing back being 5-10 meters away and still getting hit.

Not exactly. Dashing now makes you completely immune to melee.
