I’m writing this out of pure frustration.
I am experiencing
the exact same issue described above, and I have been dealing with it
for a very long time, not once, not twice —
for hundreds of hours. I love this game, I really do, but at this point it feels like the game is actively punishing me for trying to play it.
I have
over 2,000 hours in Deadlock. And honestly?
At least half of that time is pure suffering, not gameplay.
Here is what happens regularly:
- I queue into a match
- I get stuck on a black screen with the Deadlock logo
- I get kicked back to the lobby before even loading in
- I press “Rejoin”
- Same black screen
- Rejoin fails
- Back to lobby
- Repeat until I’m banned
Result?
Low priority. Again. And again. And again.
I’ve accumulated
countless low priority games and bans, not because I abandon matches, not because I grief — but because
the game literally does not let me connect.
I live in the UAE, and this problem happens
almost exclusively on the Singapore server. It has been like this for ages. Everyone knows about it. I’ve seen
dozens of posts from other players with the exact same issue. And yet —
nothing is fixed.
Sometimes the only way to even enter a game is to
turn on a VPN mid-connection. If I don’t manage to do it fast enough — low priority.
If I do manage to connect — I still get
disconnected 5–10 times per match, wasting time on reconnects, losing network flow, losing focus, and
losing games.
My rank is dropping
not because I play badly, but because I literally
cannot play like everyone else.
And what’s the most frustrating part?
It feels like
the developers don’t care at all.
We keep getting new heroes.
New visuals.
New cosmetics.
But what’s the point of new content when
basic gameplay doesn’t even work?
- Matchmaking feels awful
- Singapore servers are unstable and broken
- Constant disconnects
- Punishments for issues completely outside the player’s control
I genuinely feel like uninstalling the game
ten times a day, and the only reason I haven’t is because I
love Deadlock and have invested thousands of hours into it. But at some point, you start asking yourself:
Why am I even playing this game if it treats me like this?
Please, for once,
fix the core issues.
Stop ignoring server-side problems.
Stop punishing players for connection failures you know exist.
Nobody needs new heroes or shiny visuals when
the game is unplayable on an entire region’s server.
Do something.
Anything.
