Since the last major patch, I've noticed that the matchmaking system no longer respects the region of the person who starts the match. I often play with friends from different regions, and it used to be that when someone initiated a match by pressing "Play", we would consistently get a server in their region.
Now, it seems like the server region is randomly selected from all our party members' regions. This change means that some of us have to manually swap regions using console commands, which is quite inconvenient.
