Matchmaking doesn't work with 4G internet.

Hi, I'm temporarily living in a rural location that only has access to mobile internet (Provider: EE). This network seems to be completely incompatible with Deadlock (and CS2) matchmaking. I'm not an expert but I suspect this is a side effect of 4g not using static IPs or something along those lines. The only workaround I've found to actually play the game is using a VPN to queue for a match, and then disabling the VPN once I join the game server (this is quite unreliable and usually requires me to the try different VPN locations before it works). I've also experienced bugs during the match where I'm not able to buy any items until I rejoin the server (this also happens with the CS2 buy menu).

I just want to make sure devs are aware of this, and in the meantime if anyone has any suggestions for a more reliable way to solve this please let me know.

This message will appear on screen when trying to search or join a party:
"You are not currently signed in to Steam or the Deadlock Network is unable to determine your current connectivity to our servers"
This error will spam the console when trying to connect to a game server without my VPN enabled:
Cannot access SDR network. Unable to communicate with ANY of 30 Steam Datagram routing cluster. Possible problem with local internet connection?

Most likely there is something else happening on your end (machine) or your internet service.

Saying this as a person who has been exclusively playing online-games through GPRS / EDGE / HSPA (3G)/ LTE (4G) / 5G for past two decades. And also without using a static IP-address or VPNs.
Granted, I've also have been fortunate to have a good quality internet connection to begin with
(provided by "DNA Oy" while residing in Finland).

Depending on where you're trying to play from and whose internet service you're using, this could very likely be a "routing" issue
( as in physically speaking the data either is routed unnecessary detours or might get even mixed up somewhere );
you might need to have a conversation with your internet service provider about this.
