Whenever you ROLL (use stamina ), if you do not let go of SHIFT and the movement key "W,A,S,D" , the keys "W ,D (Move forward, move right)" DO NOT recognize being inputted anymore. You can only move with "S,A (back and left)". This causes me to stand still in-game often,because as I try to run forward or right directly after dodging, my character does not move. Coming from other games where you hold shift to run, Im sure many players find this frustrating. Furthermore, if you let go of just "Shift" key, but are still holding a movement key you still dont move; you MUST let go of "Shift + (movement key.)"

this isn't happening with me at all. Is it still occurring for you? It might be local.
Hmm, my key binds are the same I’m lost then.
Dang, idk what it could be then cause I don’t have a problem on any other game
Someone replied on Reddit saying it just started happening for them but only the “D” key.
Well I know for a fact it at least happens in the lobby, the main mode, and brawl mode.

open console and type:
bind [KEY THAT YOU ARE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH]
for example.
bind A
or
bind D
or
bind [KEY WHERE YOU HAVE DASH] (like bind ctrl)
and check if you have multiple things bound to that key
maybe typing unbind [KEY] and then rebinding can fix it

Ok I figured it out, its because I had "Upgrade Ability" bound to "Shift + Ability button" I guess that was messing it up? But I removed the binds and put them back the same way and now its fixed
