Magic Carpet Getting Cancelled with Torment Pulse and Spirit Burn

My magic carpet is automatically canceling itself when torment pulse ticks and applies Spirit Burn. It doesn't cancel it every time but I tested it in training and it is specifically with these 3 items.

I am seeing this as well, I am able to reproduce it in the practice range with just the magic carpet and torment pulse.
I am also able to trigger it with magic carpet and:
* spirit burn, and decay, if I cast decay and am flying when the damage hits the spirit burn threshold.
* mystic reverb and damage with scorn.

Does not trigger with carpet and:
* alchemical fire
* knockdown
