If you’re in low priority queue, starting matchmaking and then exiting the game without properly canceling the search can seriously backfire. Each time you do this, your low priority requirement often increases by five extra games.
For example, I only had to win 2 games to get out of low priority. But after leaving during matchmaking without canceling, I logged back in and now I need 7 wins instead.
And just because I left one more match, my penalty jumped—now I have to win 17 games to escape low priority. GG.
