Low Prio/Ban System has to change until the game actually runs

Fourth time this month I catch an abandon because the game crashes when a new character casts their abilities. Match id 58850248. Playing as silver in a close game until a teamfight mid where Apollo presses ult and the whole lobby crashes, computer locks up for 5 minutes, crash to desktop, steam desync, resync keeps bugging so I time out on abandon, reconnect and then crash twice when trying to load in just to finish the game. This is after a week of no performance issues then some update comes through and trashes the whole thing. Now I'm 24hr ban and 3 low prio games. Nice.

The game is completely tanking performance with these constant updates just throwing random optimization changes at the wall, crashing even on high-end pcs. It's breaking people's hardware. Last week it completely locked my whole pc and I had to hard reset the power to do anything. I get it's early access and all, but you can't have people being your bug-testers for optimization and then punish them when they do just that. If the game is going to be hard-crashing again and again while you push 4 updates a day that do god knows what to people's PCs, you have to change the dc/abandon framework. You are just punishing people for giving you the data you need. Pointless policy and terrible optimization. Fix your game, Yoshi.

I absolutely agree, this game is tanking my performance along with massive instability on my Internet. Lag spikes and having to abandon my games because of this. It's causing me to turn away and forget this as of right now if it keeps up.

FINALLY someone is talking abt it, valve has to retire this overtuned leaver's punishment until the game is optimized out and running, i got banned for a week now because of constant crashes but remind yourselves, this is a closed beta. a closed beta should not ban you from having your pc crash because of poor optimization server-sided

Y'know, the interesting thing is that everyone who makes these reports just reports that they've received an undeserved ban, and not why they're crashing in the first place. Is your computer shit? Do you have an AMD card? Are you on Linux? Are you on a Steamdeck? Who cares, the important part is that you got a ban for it, and you are big angy about that.

... You have 8 gb of ram... That can't even run minecraft properly I'm pretty sure. Even a thinkpad from 5 years ago will have at least 16gb of RAM, you couldn't even run business software like Excel with your browser open on 8gb.

Consider closing your browser and discord when you're playing the game, they both takel ike 2gb of RAM just to be open, see if that fixes the problem.

i have 8gb ram and still dropped 400 hours on overwatch and at least 800 on valorant even before changing my old gpu(which was a amd radeon rx 580 series) you're exagerating it very much, 8gb of ram isn't the best but it still runs things (yes it does run minecraft properly and yes i can have business software open WHILE my opera with 75 tabs is running in the background, otherwise i just wouldn't even be able to do my college stuff), also the only things i keep open while playing are discord and deadlock, the game used to run fine, not loading here and there but then the match wouldn't start and i wouldn't be banned, and now it's just tanking optimization like it wasn't even made to be ran in the first place.

Yeah the main difference here is that Overwatch and Valorant have no NPCs or objects. You should compare your situation to games that actually have scripts running locally for map elements. Maybe some day they'll get to dota 2 levels of optimization for creep pathing but at the moment, the problem is clear, you do not have enough deditated wam. That is a problem on your end and it will not fix itself by just unbanning you.
