Lost rank and banned even though I reconnected and won?

My internet quickly cut during my game, probably spent 5 minutes disconnected out of a 40-50 minute game, then reconnected, won the game, and still had 75% kill participation for our teams kill spread and I receive a ban and loss of elo? Why?

I understand punishing leavers or straight up disconnects but I reconnected shortly after and won the game.

bump on this, this happened to me just now. Accidently hit my computers reset button and disconnected from the game. Came back to the game as soon as my comp started, told my team which understood, and farmed my way (got most souls in game) and helped team win. Didn't get the win recorded and I was still banned gameid=63454824

^basically same here man! ban system is way too harsh currently imo
