Locked out w/o knowledge of DC

Hi,

I just got a surprise while trying to play tonight.

I went through the usual procedures, started a search and went over to spectate while I waited.

I had to get something off my server for my wife and I alt-tabbed over to fish it out. The spectating continued.

When I came back in, I noticed that my screen was in the Steam overlay with the game I was spectating in the background. When I got out of that and quit the spectating, I noticed I was no longer in the queue.

I tried to rejoin and I was given the dreaded "you have been temporarily banned" for 2 hours (??!?) without ever hearing the Join sound or seeing the screen change.

Soooooooo? Whatsupwiththat?

Same issue I had and this has happened more than once.

Well, add that to tonight where I was forced out to pick up my kid when my wife was supposed to.

Now the stacked ban is 6 hours!

I must have played 8 games between that, so this is not a case of jumping out all the time.

So, a tech glitch combined with an unwanted AFK removes any chance of me playing tonight....

Is there any way to see the current level of penalty or when you have disconnected?
