Sometimes strings in the game are not being displayed properly (wrong strings are used/strings are not updated)

Startup options: +citadel_unit_status_use_new true
Kernel version: Linux 6.18.6-arch1-1
Proton version: Proton Experimental

Running the Steam flatpak on Debian Sid. Can provide more detailed system info and repro footage if necessary.

This happens all the time, on almost all strings in the UI. During the game, in the hideout, in the shop, on hero selection, etc.

Player names on the kill portraits, kill counts on the killstreak popups, item stat numbers in the shop, UI tooltips for hero selection, the explanation for the priority tokens, etc, etc.

What happens is; the string is (sometimes partially) garbled the first time it's displayed, then when I hover away and hover back, it's random if it'll load correctly or not.

It appears to be loading snippets of strings from elsewhere in memory, so I imagine it's a buffer overflow somewhere in the text rendering code.

I think it's been happening since sometime after Rem came out and before Graves, but not 100% sure.
