Something that hasn't yet been explored is upgrades to items that are the same tier as the Component item! I think it presents an interesting option for making a stronger item in a given Tier, but it's cost is split up so it's not quite as good as the next tier up.
Item Name: Lightning Rounds
Item type: Spirit
Cost: 6000 souls (T3 upgrade, component Tesla Rounds)
Stats:
+14% Weapon Damage
+14% Fire rate
Passive 1: (.15s CD)
Your bullets build up to shock your target. The shock will jump to a nearby enemy.
You deal 50% reduced bullet damage, but each bullet deals Spirit damage equal to the bullet damage it deals.
This provides bonus scaling and base damage compared to Tesla Rounds, but also changes some of ALL of your bullet damage into spirit damage, making it a much more Spirit leaning item.
