Lash FEELs bad after the changes.

Hi, Ascendant 6 Lash main, and I gotta say he feels bad this patch, the flog changes force you to max it if you don't want it to feel really shitty in fights with how small the width is now, so maybe reverting the width changes could be a solution, the CD changes are fine.

The ult it does feel worse considering you don't throw people as far until you put one point into the ult, which you honestly don't want to do until you have Slam and Flog maxed (maxing those two asap are crucial for Lash's burst) so if you drop a point into ult for the throw range you are delaying either your slam max or flog max, and that feels really bad.

Ult in general throws people not as far away as before, I'm guessing y'all didn't want Lash ulting people into spawn, but I gotta say that was so satisfying to do, and there's so many ways people can counter Lash ult that I don't think it's that big of an issue.

Overall reverting either the changes on one of the two abilities it would help a lot. The T3 grapple changes are nice, but you still HAVE to get it last, so you barely ever get to play around with it.

I guess a lot of other characters are really strong this patch and that might be why Lash feels bad but I do think I'd love it if y'all looked into how much this patch affected how he "feels", not really balance wise, but the ult and the flog just feel bad during the early and mid game, and the stuff you need to do to counter that (maxing flog early/ putting 1 point into ult early, or buying expansion early, all of those make you reach your damage power spikes later, aka Max slam and flog.)
 
This goes in changelog and/or lash feedback. Cus they will read it there, they are less likely to here.

Agree with everything tho, having no range is super frustrating and considering lash ult is so easily countered, it feels very bad for even uncountered ults to be ineffective

yeah and almost all of lashes dmg is dependant on height which can be seen easily by the enemy players and counterd with counterspell or a jump, the ult not having much range but having a very long pickuprange will force him to try and play as close to his teamates to get a ult and even then its not 100% quaranteed cause of the amount of places people can go to just get stuck instead of being thrown, ult sliding is now 10x more crucial but such a hard thing to do consistantly in good times especially when vindicta can counterspell while also flying.
I can understand where the flog change comes from but deleting it the range scaling fully is such a big nerf to lash, i imagined that they would half the scaling or more but the complete removsl of it forces lash to go for flog to have any good sustain as well as poke in fights instead of building for ult. They make him so restricted.
But i love the parry noticed it firstly when i grappled and counter spelled a seven stun, looked majestic.
