so i just got kicked from the game and no reconnect option came up and my internet i fine

Just happened to us too. The server froze (and everyone in it) for about 30 seco0nds, and then we all got kicked (like an auto disconnect from other valve titles)
Edit: For what it's worth, as far as I can tell, the match doesn't get abandoned as I don't see it on my Match History, so I don't know what it gets counted as internally, if anything. It would be a huge bummer if anyone got banned for abandoning from this sort of thing.

i got kicked as well had the option to rejoin then it disappeared..don't see game in match history and also didn't get banned its like the match just didn't exist weird..
