Keyboard won't work

When the game starts i'm always trying to up the abilities of my character, and if someone presses pause when you pess ALT to increase your ability - the keyboard gonna stuck. Not disconnect, just stuck like i can press ALT and icons on the screen is moving, i can look around even, but can't increase ability and move. ALT+F4 is helping, don't know what to do without it. It's happening very often.
