Intro
During the Winter event, I thought the snowball item was an excellent idea and loved that it had a form of progression to it as well. It made me consider what other all-player novelty items could exist.*Implementation
I notice that many games have a form of "selfie" mechanic integrated into their camera systems. Although I understand Deadlock does not currently have an in-game camera besides spectator mode, and the implementation of such would be almost solely novel (unless...
), I feel that it would open a realm of possibilities for players to share the moments that really make Deadlock shine while adding a new form of expression to the game.Other Ideas
• Grade photos based on capture content (Allies, Enemies, Low Health Objectives) and reward a camera upgrade or potentially souls if implemented as a support item in shop.
• Board at team spawn or some other designated area with images taken from camera item.
• Photo object generated from capture could have different look (Sepia, Worn Photo, Frames, etc.) based on camera level or other factors pertaining to more meta features such as player graphic settings.
• If integrated as full feature, player could also have access to expressions to alter their hero's emotion.

* Speaking of event items, the recent posters in the update made me wonder what a "Tag Battle" gamemode would be like in a game like in Deadlock. Maybe one day!
