I got banned for reporting people that in my opinion completely deserved it.
Just as an example, I am going to tell the reasons I reported in last 10 games.
Match 23135379: Our Wraith had a literal slur in the name, I dont know how much better of a reason I need to report her.
Match 22956273: Lash was basically from the start shit talking our Shiv on voice chat, went on to shit talk the whole team (I told him to shut the fuck up in voice chat after he wouldnt stop insulting our Shiv).
Match 22765719: Game performed really badly (for some reason after the recent patch, I have had frame drops and sometimes unplayable amount of lags and stuff). I started to get shit on by 5 people, maybe even more, I dont know. I reported them (I accidentally reported Viscious instead of Warden, but I doubt one bad report can get me banned).
I went through and looked at some games. Many of them had slurs in the names, some of them were toxic (trash talking) and I didnt even report them, I would have been banned earlier if I did. I am not saying all my reports are right, I remember a month ago I got pissed off and reported my team. It is just weird to get banned over reporting in a Valve game. If you have played CS, Dota and TF2, you know how disgustingly toxic people can get and how big portion of them are generally assholes. I have literally seen CP in Tf2, these games will be full of toxicity and if you want it to be as free from it as possible, getting banned for reporting will only avert people from doing it and will just increase cheaters and toxicity.
I am not sure this is the right place to write this, but I couldnt find any other place.
I think the game doesn't register languages other than English, so it doesn't understand when someone has a slur in the name or is saying some bad stuff for example in Russian.
