Rank is relative. Just because you are winning doesn't mean you are winning more than other people at your MMR.

They're both mid 40% winrate as well. You're not gonna climb on negative winrate.
I stayed the same rank even when I had a 55% winrate. I just wanna figure out why I'm not ranking up with my friends. I mainly play with them and they are all mainly arcanist and ritualist. So sure my winrate dropped when I was learning new heroes, but considering I'm playing with higher skilled people I think that's fair lol. Still doesn't explain why I still didn't rank up since I've started playing this game when my friends have ranked up several times from the games we play together.

Is it possible that you're losing more often in the games you aren't playing with your friends, and winning more often in the games you are playing with your friends? Then they could have a higher winrate despite you sometimes playing together.
Also, like... if the game is keeping you "stuck", just keep improving until you can trash the lobbies. Either your skill rank will improve, or you can come back here with a 60% winrate and 16 game winstreak, and have much better odds at catching dev attention.

I rarely play by myself but when I do, I usually have no problem winning. It's a toss up when I play with my friends since we all vary in skill level. If I duo queue with the right people we have no problem winning, but if I just play to play with friends well that's also why my win rate dropped xD
My post was mainly to see if other people had this problem which I see yes they do, and to document
UPDATE: Ever since the 6 new hero update my rank has been going up. I've been solo queuing a lot more as well to get more practice as paige since I love her kit so much.
