Inexplicable framerate drop mid-match

I normally get well over 60 fps, but during this match the framerate became extremely choppy over time, averaging around 30 or less. It became fully noticeable around the 20-minute mark. I had played a few matches before this with no issues. This has happened for me a handful of times in the past, and I'm not aware of any pattern to it.

My specs:
Windows 10
AMD Ryzen 5 5600X
16gb RAM
NVIDIA RTX 2070 Super
2560x1440 144hz display

I haven't figured out the cause, but it seems to be related to specific area of the map, because if I go to a corner far away it stops doing it. Reloading client fixes it. Someone said to try jumping off of and immediately back onto the same zip line without landing once, and I have no idea if that does anything or not, but hey

I get a similar frame rate drop in the mid game around the middle of the map. It seems to get better when I turn away from the middle but gets worse again after

When the frame rates drop, does restarting the game help? If it does try reinstalling Windows. That resolved the issue for me, but I am not entirely sure what the root cause actually was, could be possible to resolve the issue without a full format (just couldn't be asked to bother)

I used a Ryzen 7 5800X3D and 3070 Ti with 32 GB of RAM

reinstalling your OS because a game has frame drop is a bit extreme

some other threads have resolved issues with the freezing during Haze ults by clearing DXCache, and that could be useful here as well

It is extreme, it's probably something with the drivers or in Windows and you can generally resolve those without a full reinstall, but like I said, I just couldn't be bothered to look for the root cause and just took the path of least resistance as it took me a total of 3 hours to be back up and running including everything installed and configured exactly as it was before. Though if it were just to reinstall the basic software and games the total process takes about an hour at most. Compare that with reinstalling drivers, repairing Windows, such tinkering would take hours as at the end of the day the issue is not a game problem, but an OS problem.

The Haze ult is a separate issue, the one I reference is something that feels like it's a memory leak because it always starts after some time and does not resolve itself unless you restart the game. Generally you would notice a drop in frames likely after a few matches. For example, in my case I get a stable 120 or so FPS, but when that bug occurred it dipped to ~50 and if left unchecked at some point would tank to 15. So the question is whether or not this is the same problem that gets revealed by some games or something different.

Starts somewhere around 32-35 minutes. Framerate improves while looking directly toward the base, but gets worse looking in the opposite direction.

Notably, this one happened really early, something like 10 minutes in. In addition, I was able to restart the game partway through the match, and that solved it completely.
