Imbuing an ability sometimes just doesn't work

Sometimes it takes multiple tries to imbue an ability with an item. Like I'll click on the item, then click on the ability I want to imbue, and it won't buy the item. Just now I was trying to put Superior Duration on my ult and it literally took 10 tries which is probably a record.

Noticed this happening in sandbox trying to imbue bebop hook with improved reach

this has happened to me before as well. costly bug when you don't notice in time and you were buying a 6200.

Happened to me with Mystic Reverb once, I don't even think it gave me a window to imbue an ability, just went straight to inventory
