In the film "Big Trouble in Little China " the main Antagonist is an evil Chinese sorcerer that wishes for his original body back by marrying a girl with green eyes. He has powers over demons and can become intangible like a ghost. If deadlock can get their own version of this archetypal enemy in fiction, he can have a name based of historical figures such as ancient Chinese emperor or advisors like Liu Che or Taifu.
For abilities I was thinking he could have an ability to throw acupuncture needles or have control over the elements like fire breath. There is the potential of being good at hand to hand combat so melee builds could be a thing. There is so much potential of ideas can come from this idea of a playable character like maybe shapeshifting like Sliver but maybe for a basic ability instead to show his discipline.
I think Dialogue interactions will be hilarious with this type of character from doorman and him maybe knowing each other, him thinking hes better than Lady Geist because he found immortality and with the Baxter Society hunting monsters maybe his pet beholder was slain and hates them for it.
In conclusion the opportunity for an Evil Chinses Sorcerer is ripe for potential and open to interpretion it would be a blessing if he was to be added to deadlock. From manipulation over demons and shapeshiting too back talking alot of the characters in deadlock thinking they are superior.
