I think it's very necessary to show the block status.

First, I never know exactly when I can use it; I often fail to trigger it, which results in me taking damage.

Second, I frequently forget to use it, so the Spirit Block ability I purchased often goes completely to waste.

Jialany, what did I do to deserve this? Is this some sort of joke? I have already responded to your last post about not knowing when you can use your parry. I explained it pretty well too, I sent it to all my friends, and they said I explained it in a way that was simple but exemplary. Please refer to my post that I sent in response to your 'Block Status Display' post. Do not make a fool out of me again. I am on your side.

Apologies—I just wanted to add some information I left out last time, and I’m really keen to help push things forward.

I completely understand. I feel your pain in failing to trigger it at the right time, and getting melee'd for it. An underrated item I use a lot is "Rebuttal", it's an 800 souls green item. It makes the time between blocks (parries) quicker. Plus, it gives melee resist, some extra health, and if you parry someone with it, it gives you a heal and some temporary bonus damage.
