I guess I got outplayed by Wraith.

She used her Teleport first, so I guess that’s the reason she didn’t get swapped.

I’m new to the game, so I don’t fully understand Paradox yet - even though I only play Paradox. I thought her swap had priority and could cancel enemy abilities. I know it can’t cancel everything, but I was surprised by how Wraith’s teleport interacted with Paradox’s swap.

I’d like to know if there are any similar interactions with Paradox’s swap - please share.

Yes your swap effect starts (which is the relocation locations) before hers ends (which I guess trump her final location)
Yep, must be that then.
I was thinking that because her teleport ability has 40m and Paradox’s maxed-out swap is 38m, that might also be the reason, but that most likely has nothing to do with it.

Paradox swaps to the target's location upon cast hitting. The swapped will travel in magnitude and direction, with speed adjusted to match so the swapping time is always fixed.

Hence, explains what we see:
1) Paradox swaps to where wraith was hit, not where she went afterwards
2) Despite Wraith teleporting out, she moves as if she was still at the moment of cast, except, it happens further away.

Pay close attention, the distance of swap is quite small. Wraith moved as if she was still there, but instead displaced by the card transformation.

I wonder what will happen if wraith teleports closer. In theory, Wraith should either fling straight to Paradox at fast speed, to basically return where she teleported from, with Paradox nearby.
