Horrible Memory leaks

Every since Rem has dropped, the game has had consistently horrible performances after around 19-23 minutes in a standard match. It can be somewhat fixed with disconnecting and reconnecting mid-match but the problem will return within 1-2 minutes and returns 100% of the time if an ultimate is cast or a patron shifts form. The frequency and severity of these performance dips has only gotten worse as new characters have dropped.
The moment it happens once, even being near another player will send the game from 120 FPS and minimal lag to 3 fps at best and input latency of over a second. This will occur almost 3 times a minute and is worse around team fights and patrons in general. Deadlock has been taking up a noticeably larger chunk of my GPU since the update where Rem dropped, going from around 7-10% to a whopping 23% and has risen to averaging 27% as of late.
I have tried validating game files, uninstall/reinstalling, changing my graphics drivers, changing my launch options, and changing my version of Proton to alleviate this issue and nothing has worked. Who it affects seems to be inconsistent, I have seen Windows and Linux users alike have this problem and I have seen Windows and Linux not have this problem so I don't believe it has something to do with the game's compatibility with a specific OS. The severity of these performance dips also seems to vary depending on what character is currently being played, with Sinclair and Rem having noticeably worse performance dips than other heroes but this could just be a coincidence.
My current graphics card has 16gb of VRAM which might be a bit low for how much the graphics got recently overhauled, and I have 48gb of RAM. So while my setup might be the culprit it seems extremely likely that there is a memory leak with how consistently the issue shows up around 20 minutes into a match.

I am having the same issue. I drop down to 20 or less frames as soon as it hits 20 minutes when in a standard match with REM in the game. I regain my frames once the match ends and I return to lobby.

I currently have 32GB RAM and a GTX 1080 with 8GB of VRAM.

It very much seems like a memory leak caused by REM, and I think it more so has to do with his helpers.

has this been addressed yet? im a new player, only been playig for a week or two.
having the same issues and cant find a fix, only other people saying theyre having the same issues.
ive basically relegated myself to only playing bot matches because i do NOT want to be stuck in a 40min game with 10fps, absolutely SANDBAGGING my team.

3060ti, 32gb DDR4, ryzen 7 5700g

Not fixed. In another thread i also pleaded to any dev reading to please at least acknowledge the problem. It really sucks to try to game.only to find out after about 15 minute that you'll be useless and most likely cause the team to loose the match.

I'm trying to raise up two forum threads that have the most views. But there's still no information about this.
If you want, there are links to other threads, and maybe you'll find a solution that works for you. Unfortunately, the problem has been ongoing for over a month.

Just to add to the discussion, I have the same issues.
Noticed that my game hovers around 185 FPS when launched, then gradually drops to around 75/85 fps and then whenever I do anything significant, like press to cast an ability or quick aim front to back, the game lags severely, and on the performance monitor it shows my MS rising instead of my FPS dropping. FPS stays the same but apparenty ping skyrockets from 18 to 280 ms. I have fiber optic internet so I am a hundred percent certain it's not me.
After a game or two it's just unplayable and jumps every now and then so randomly that I can't pinpoint any real reason it does except the mentioned Vram leak.
Fix this devs, it looks like a trivial fix compared to everything else you have made.

i've experienced ram leaks before, it was only happening on vulkan, was fixed as soon as i switched to dx11. could be the solution but also could be unrelated to your case, but worth a try

Tried swapping between both, same outcome. I have a Ryzen 9 5900HS and RTX 3060, 24gigs of ram. Should be at least at 60 FPS all the time...
