mystic expansion doesn't increase the range of hop to ally when imbued on tag along:
hop to ally is considered a separate ability to tag along so it's range isn't affected when imbuing mystic expansion on tag along
buying greater expansion increases the range of hop to ally from 30m to 40m since the item technically affects all abilities
the same principle also applies to items that increase range, they affect hop to ally aswell
it seems like a strange inconsistency that specifically mystic expansion doesn't apply to hop to ally when imbued on tag along when every other source of range increase does
also in the same vein, you can imbue mystic expansion on silver's entangling bola to increase the range of tail whack despite it not affecting entangling bola at all, which is further justification for allowing mystic expansion to work with hop to ally
