Holding chatwheel crashes the game

Game crashes when I press the Chatwheel button or longpress the ping button (to show the chatwheel).
Things I tried: (1) Change keybindings (since I had ping on G that the new patch put as buy queued item), didn't matter. (2) Only have one keybinding for ping/chatwheel, didn't matter.
I have a mod that modified the chatwheel before the patch, never had crashes with it then. Didn't reenable mods by changing the gameinfo text during this patch, so the mod shouldn't have been active anyway I think. I did remove the mod anyway and verified the game files. Still crashes everytime.
Haven't tried to uninstall the game and reinstall it yet, maybe should but thought it might be harder for you to figure out what the bug is then maybe? For now I'm just unbinding the keys, but hope for a fix since pinging is important!

Putting the mod back on would in fact fix the issue, you are attempting to call something that doesn't exist anymore(the custom ping wheel), causing the crash. you need to remove the option in your ping wheel for the crash to no longer happen. Or as I stated, just put the mod back and edit the gameinfo.gifile
