they are more things that agument you, your gun, or your abilities. like, they really arent ... items. in a sense. like items in other games like this are physical things that are like weaponry or a totem or armor or something. like drums of endurance are ... drums. shrunken head in heroes of newerth is a shrunken head totem. bf sword in league is a sword, etc. like you cant hold a "melee lifesteal". i wouldn't go to a pawn shop to buy a "veil walker." i guess some work better than others. like "magic carpet" or "silencer" but still. just something to think about as the game progresses. im at a PC cafe playing your game right now. polish dudes next to me are gaming cs 1.6 screaming kurwa. its the weekend baby

I think somewhere in the game it actually refers to them as Mods, not items. Though pretty much everyone refers to the as items.

Some characters call them relics, the game calls them items, the posters and signs show they are products in-universe. Who knows?
