High ping on home servers - other games is usual ping

Hello all,

I find that in game I am constantly on 100+ ping despite being connected to my home server (sydney). Using the net_print_sdr_ping_times command, I see the connections:
syd: 115ms
hkg: 131ms
maa2: 154ms
bom2: 179ms
sea: 180ms
lax: 182ms
seo: 201ms
ord: 211ms

When playing other games like OW2, league and valorant, I find myself having the usual ping of 10ms. Is anyone experiencing this? How have people fixed this if there is a current fix?

I am having the same issue with the same symptoms. from my testing it seems to be linked to valve servers as i get the same stable ping in specifically valve games (Dota2, TF2, Deadlock)

Not sure we have a fix currently as its probably server side and is probably a sign that the sydney servers are either, not able to keep up with the demand, or undergoing changes.

My issue has been ongoing for about a week and iv been using bot matchs (server hosted) to check for ping in game.
Has your issue fixed itself or is it still on going? trying to gauge if its a problem that will go away on its own or if more noise needs to be made.
