Hideout Soft lock

As the video demonstrates, the player can be easily easily soft locked in the hideout. You just need to switch hero in Mo&Krill in the specific position shown in the video. You will start to fall, trying to switch again the hero will result in the player ability to walk in a usually "dead zone", trying the command "noclip" to get up on the hideout will put the player in a perpetual spawn kill loop. The video is the first time I discovered the bug.

Edit: I'm uploading the video on youtube, I'm having problems on the forum, I will edit this bug report soon

Edit2: I was able to repeat the bug a second time, but today 06/01/2025 I wasn't able to repeat it. Were the collisions in the hideout fixed?

i mean, just noclip with god/buddha enabled :D
restart or setpos will also work(in parties too)
sv_cheats is set to true in party hideout regardless

also u can walk there since ur on the ground, it's jumping that makes u die, nocilp makes u technically in the air so it's insta death

Using the console is not a true fix, because not everyone knows how to do it.

I tried all the codes but not the "setpos" one, they don't work while in a party, or don't work for this specific case.

What do you mean by "You can walk there"? The inaccessebility of the hideout blocks you from using parts of the game. The only true fix without console commands is to close the game and reopen it. A true softlock.

well, chances are if you get out of bounds you know how to use it, i wasnt able to get out of bounds w/o a console at all, just get someone stuck inside a wall with ivy's ult

majority of useful commands do in fact work in party, since sv_cheats is enabled, and by walking i explained how u were able to saty alive until u nocliped, the kill zone or whatever it's called technically can only deal damage when ur mid air

There was no way to return to the hideout even if I just kept walking, this forces the player to close the game and reopen it.

Staying alive or dead is not important if in both cases you can't return to the hideout, because the discussed problem is the soft lock and not the repeated death.

The chances to know console commands is not discussed in this thread, even more because the bug occurred without using them.
The looped death at the end of the video is just a test to fix the bug using console commands, without success.
