The Red Baron

Many years ago, an astral gate opened somewhere in the Alps. It's actual location remained unknown, but one thing that was for certains is that periodicaly, dragons would come out of it and attack the villages and towns of Southern Germany. In order to protect his people, kaiser Wilhem created a new military unit : the Drachenkampfverband, a unit of aerial combat trained soldier that would leap in the sky from airships equiped of nothing but a soul fed motor and a gun.

From these brave men, one would stand out from the rest. The young Manfred von Richthofen, a noble with no land claim, would join the corp in hopes of glory. Glory he would find on his first mission, managing to take down a dragon with nothing but a knife right before it reached Munich. Nicknamed "The Red Baron" after giving an interview still wearing his blood covered uniform, the young man would capture the world's imagination and gain international fame.

The years passed, the heroic feats kept pilling on, and not before long, it was time to retire. He would pass on the title of the Red Baron to his son, Manfred Jr, who despite many heroic feats of his own, always felt he couldn't live up to his father's name. It goes without saying that after killing so many throughout the years, dragon attacks got fewer, with none being seen over for two years now.

Now in New York City for a publicity tour, young Manfred turns his attention to the ritual, maybe the patrons are the answer to save the honor and glory of the family title.

second hero idea for me, i'm not a balancing master, so yet again, idfk if this is balanced or not, hope people enjoy the vision
 
I like the concept art and the 1. I think we can do some upgrades here. The 3 seems to be lacking a lot of traits, it could be beefed up. The infinite.ammo while gliding works as a base ability, but then the rest of the upgrades are all outdone by 1 3.2k item.
What if the 3 allowed him to do staffing attacks? Getting low to the ground and having greatly increased firerate as he dives.

Also the 1 should become the 2 since it's the movement ability.

I think the 2, which I'm suggesting to make the 1, should become an ability that is good at clearing a room. A lot of flying characters have trouble fighting people who are in buildings. If he had an ability by which he could smoke people out into the open, that could be useful.

The 4 is quite weak, weaker than some normal abilities. I think you can just dream bigger for it.

Thanks for the feedback, since i'm not that versed in balancing, i didn't want to make the 3 too powerful, i guess i could clump the +1 jump +2 stamina together, then come with 2 other upgrades for T2 and T3.

Basically the way i thought up the flare gun is half utility half damage. I mostly got inspired by BF1's flare guns that are used to scout the mini map where you shoot it for your team. Since i basically envision ww1 style flare gun, how they were used back then was to light up No Man's Land at night to see what's happening ahead. So instead of using it to damage someone, you'd shoot it at the sky and see what's hapening bellow on the map. Shoot it in the sky of the enemy jungle to see if they're farming and for potential gank with your team or shoot in in the sky of a side lane and go farm, then be alerted if there's an enemy push. But i do suppose the damage could be boosted up a bit to make up for the lack of room clearing powers of sky heroes.

As for the Ult, i was honestly tempted to just copy Ivy's since it would fit way too much thematicaly, but since it felt cheap to have 2 heroes share an ultimate, i decided to trade the capacity to carry allies for 2 additional bombs. I don't really know what else i could use for an ult and i'm not necesseraly opposed to more utility centered ultimates like Ivy's or Mirage's, so i didn't see it much of a problem if it was low cooldown/low damage or impact.
