[Hero] - Occultist

Hi everyone, i would like to present a new hero - An Occultist.
Basically the whole premise of this hero revolves around the theme of Fate and a monkey's paw, which itself is a very cool and interesting "artifact" should i say? Besides that, i would really love to see the design of a playable character that doesn't move by themselves but by a hand that pulls the strings above, controlling their fate metaphorically and physically like a marionette! Which brings me to a hero that i think would VERY fit in the game that is all about spiritism and mystics=)

His height should not be very high since we need to have a monkey's flying paw that controlls him to be somewhat around Abrams's head height, maybe lower.
I was thinking about his gun, the idea i came up with is he is constantly channeling the energy to summon a smaller monkey's paw that shoots the strings like needles via flicking 4 fingers at a time.
The reload animation i thought about is that An Occultist's hands get tired from channeling, he starts to crack his knuckles and resumes the summon.
Melee and Heavy melee attacks would be the small summoned hand forming a knuckle and doing the punch.
Parry animation is the big controlling hand covering An Occultist, forming its fingers like a cage, protecting him from the incoming attack.

i've come up with 2 different Ultimates for this hero, since i think either of them is cool tho some might say the first one needs balancing or op, im not sure i just like the idea that an Occultist summons a hand that holds the strings of other heroe's Fate and wont allow them to die

this one i just imagined a giant paw that walks like that which is both hilarious and cool, would be crazy to see that in game
for the first time i'm sure=)

The lore for the hero is that he is a creator of the last cult that worships an eldritch 6 fingered Monkey God, which slowly got forgotten with time, so it needs worshippers to have influence in our world. While gaining more power and spreading their followers around New-York, other hidden cults grew wary and came up with the plan to get rid of our Occultist, they used an artifact to paralyze him and let him watch as they destroy everything he built. In his last attempt to try to save them, with his mind he came in contact with the Monkey God. The God said that it's powers are waning and without him he would no longer be present in this world so he will help him, but everything has a price. An Occultist said :"Lend me your power so that my eyes would no longer see my enemies!"
The Monkey's paw curls.
Now he is blind because he doesn't need to see, his strings of Fate are now guided by his worshipped God, his enemies got destroyed but the cult is in ruins and all followers are dead. Occultist travels to The Cursed Apple to help Patron and wish to ressurect his fellow cultists, so that they can help their own God rise again.
 
let me know what you think of this hero i came up with, i understand that Boho and new upcoming Necromancer have similarities with this, i just like the concept, maybe devs might pick something from here and use it in the upcoming heroes, i would be glad if i helped =)

i find this really interesting. good concept and char story. like it!

This concept is really cool and the aesthetics feels so native to this game
