Lore: Eidon is a spirit guardian of one of the astral gates, tasked with the responsibility of holding back dangerous spirits from crossing over, and has a general belief that balance needs to be maintained between the human and spirit planes.
When it became apparent that an influx of spirits were sneaking to the human plane, Eidon crossed through their gate with the goal of herding their spirits back to their realm. Instead, as an entity that never existed on this plane, they became trapped when their essence became unstable - housing their power in a chassis inspired by both the patron and guardians.
Their wish from the patron is to return to their gate and responsibilities, and while they can't currently fully step through, they can open smaller instances, controlling a certain amount of ebb and flow between realms.
Eidon's abilities are all generally themed around the theme of balance, and controlling the hands of angry spirits desperate to return to the human plane.

Had a lot of fun picking away at this idea between games the last two weeks. I've only been playing for a few months, but recently got pulled a bit deeper into the lore and art style of the game! Hope you like the OC <3

Abilities:
- "Spirit Return" Eidon opens a portal shield, absorbing incoming bullet damage and can hold it for a short period of time before returning the equal damage (up to a max amount) as spirit damage.
- "Hollow's Snare" A charge teleport ability that can be used on both Eidon, teammates, or enemy players. A spirit hand come out from the ground, grabbing the player, pulls them through the portal (the grip doing damage to enemy players), and teleports to another defined point.
- "Shared Burden" An AOE attack with some charge-up time that can be used on either your team, OR the enemy team. Within the AOE, at the end of the charge, all players within the circle have their health averaged out.
- Ultimate - "Gate of the Bound" - Eidon opens a portal, just big enough to let through the hands of angry spirits, desperate to cross over to the human realm. Eidon's eyes give them a view of the surroundings, and the hands claw, snatch and pummel any enemies within reach as they try to pull themselves through the gate.
