Hello! I have had a few hero ideas in the past and I recently thought of an initiator/support-ish character named Flux. I am no artist, so I can't show how he looks directly, but with a character like Seven so focused on electricity, I thought it would only be fair if there was a character focused on magnetism as well.
A phenom of electromagnetism and the youngest individual to ever attend Blackmore Academy, but paired with his physical vulnerabilities and lack of speaking capabilities, he was quickly run out by the cesspool of narcissists that plagued the most marble, baroque and ornate academy in all of New York and beyond. He found solace under the shelter of Columbia’s most celestial professor, rekindling to his passion for all things electric; and magnetic.
Tired of the constant overwhelming sensations that plague the city that never sleeps, the polarising pupil has found himself under the lull of the Patrons, and he’s determined to make the world simmer down; even for a moment.
Flux is pale-skinned man in his early-mid 20s. He wears straight ginger hair on his head but has no beard to sport with it. He is quite freckled and has a soft face and a long head. He wears white ear muffs. He also wears silver sunglasses to block out too much light, and lets him see better and calms the world.
Flux wears a silvery shirt with dark parallel lines running from top to bottom and black pants and laced shoes and white gloves, all looser by at least one size to not feel so constricted. His backpack is heavy with electronics and an exoskeleton that supports his body. The skeleton reaches all the way to his ankles and wrists, where it functions as his weapon
His weapon is a triple barrelled hand pistol that shoots out electrical pulses in bursts. The weapon wraps itself around the cuffs of the shirt, and Flux spins it around to reload it.
Repulse Mode: Select any character to push them away from you.
They also get zapped, taking Spirit Damage and gaining Spirit Vulnerability.
Upgrades:
T1: Less cooldown
T2: Now stuns the enemy and reduces fire rate
T3: Greater vulnerability
Attract Mode: All characters in the well are pulled into the centre of the well, taking Spirit Damage over time.
Repulse Mode: All characters in the well are bounced away from the centre of the well, taking Spirit Damage in burst, extra damage upon colliding with walls.
Upgrades:
T1: Extra charges
T2: Lesser cooldown
T3: Increased duration, taking significant damage also slows all victims down
Attract Mode: If together, both players gain extra regen.
Repulse Mode: If separated, both players gain extra Bullet and Spirit Resistance.
Upgrades:
T1: Spirit Damage increase
T2: Gain extra movespeed
T3: Extra lifesteal.
Upgrades:
T1: Longer duration
T2: Increased range
T3: All enemies that take damage are also Silenced.
I have written out a few character interactions and other voice lines and such, but I'll share those once I am a bit more comfortable with how they sound.
I hope this character isn't too wack, and at least someone other than me finds him interesting or cool. Thanks!
Backstory
Finnigan Maroon De Lux was no ordinary teen, nor child, nor infant. Unable to tolerate the sensations of... everything, the only thing he found soothing were ‘magical lines’ running across electronics and magnets — swooshing and reverberating everywhere he went. His parents never saw such lines, but they calmed his forever overwhelmed soul. No arcanist, ritualist nor exorcist could ever explain such lines, and they thought he was a victim of a game between a demon and an angel. Abilities
Flux has two modes for some abilities, regular fires cause attract mode to active, while alt fires cause repulse mode to activate.Vector Shift
Attract Mode: Select any character to yank them closer to you.Repulse Mode: Select any character to push them away from you.
They also get zapped, taking Spirit Damage and gaining Spirit Vulnerability.

Supercharge your weapon and create a magnetic well.Attract Mode: All characters in the well are pulled into the centre of the well, taking Spirit Damage over time.

Reverse Polarity
Choose a player, you and them recover all of their ammo. Both players’ weapons now also deal Spirit Damage.Attract Mode: If together, both players gain extra regen.
Repulse Mode: If separated, both players gain extra Bullet and Spirit Resistance.

T1: Spirit Damage increase
T2: Gain extra movespeed
T3: Extra lifesteal.
Overwhelming Fields
Overwhelm the enemy by creating a field around Flux. You are able to dash for a few seconds and attract all enemies caught in that range, taking consistent Spirit Damage. Once the duration is over, all enemies are thrown in the direction you are looking in, taking a burst of Spirit Damage and have both Vulnerabilities for a few moments.Upgrades:
