Hero Concept: Maui

Maui's myth is orkinetically OP, so to balance him down to Deadlock's heroes' level, here he is darn similar to HotS Murky. The 'egg' is Maui's rigging-bound body meditating while a fire-hearted waterbody runs around fingerblasting pyro-ish unheadshottable steam jets. Hero damage on Maui's bound form teleports the other back after/with any CC applied
Hook pretty much like LoL's Nautilus. Castable from Maui's bound form while his other is down
Slide similarly to Viper (minus freebie uphill) but for resistances and regen. Standstill active updates Maui's body's position (5p upgrades cooldown)
Bash to throw a big punch. During Maui's ultimate, this replaces his melee & is replaced by a ground-strike like Lash's. Uses charges
Break (ultimate) Maui's bindings with a dream-canoe launch for a melee-only getinthere mode until a TeKa-ish ghost (visible to others as footsteps) catches & re-binds him

Rather than The Maui it should be a disciple of them (to excuse their Queequeg-ishness)

Coast is a better name than Slide and the ability wants to capture Morphling's sliver-of-health escapes so still needs more: Maybe an automatic Attribute Shift, losing damage with health for temporary armor and resistance consumed by sliding to gain regenerating health

And to enable more gameplay while stuck in the rooted form, let Bash be cast pointed at the ground to launch yourself up & back for a window to reposition with Hook

Gdit a jet of steam with eyes would definitely hurt for more pointed at ones head. Let's-say Kai's secondary body "ignores" headshots grabs Slork's wallgrab and a charge-up on Bash (cauldron bicep swell) for stun-punishes & launching. And throw in a teleport on the ult (evil mom spawns when the canoe crashes)

Turret play from-nowhere steam jets are an easy give. Range on Bash (Pipi? idk) less but. The ocean pants will need a wide bowl of viscous-ish blue under a shader-edge around translucence. Charge up on the melee gets an are-you-sure threshold bump through the ult

As a possible lets-get-crazy-with-hitboxes kai's mini-critable good pants could boil down to hot shoes with lost health. And/or a cerebro-ish spaceball's a-hole helmet while additional arms shoot when the rooted form is caught & shot. Generous charges on mobility shared between forms

Dropping Cerebro for Kalista: This immobilized Queequeg (wrapped in glowing hot popcorn strings of rocks under a plume of evaporating steam) grabs a full turret speargun with Assassinate-ish numbers & mutual displacement. Hot shoes are silly but steam finger-guns stay to balance the guns' balances
