Generic Simple Hero Idea
Design:
Super Soldier / Halo Spartan / Call of Duty appeal
Melee:
Energy sword Swipe
Gun:
Halo Armor Abilities:
1 - Energy sword Lunge
Charges.
Like Shiv's ultimate. Single target lunge ability but looks like Shiv's 2nd spell. (meaning it cannot effectively be used as an escape tool as there aren't enemies behind a unit to target and jump to.
Alt + 1 - (Hologram) Illusion Energy Sword Lunge
Shares cooldown with 1. Spawns an illusion (Hologram) that sprints towards the direction and any enemy unit that it comes within range will cast the energy sword lunge then disappear.
This illusion (Hologram) can be used to block damage/bullet too since it also shares the passive ability.
2 - Drop Shield / Bubble Shield
iconic bubble shield. Heals units in the bubble.
3 - Overshield / Energy Shield
Passive ability with active. Recharging all damage barrier. Barrier HP scales with HP and also has a multiplier based on the percentage of spirit.
When the shield breaks, the ability goes on cooldown.
If not on cooldown or broken, the ability may be activated to grant the user bonus barrier HP based on the current barrier HP.
4 - Armor Lock
Toggle to enter an invulernable state while draining Armor lock meter.
While armor locked, the user is invulerable but cannot act, move, shoot or cast abilities or it will cancel the armor lock/cancel entering armor lock.
Once the meter expires or the user exits out of armor lock, they explode in a small radius dealing damage based on spirit. The explosion from armor lock also drains stamina around the user and grants this hero the stolen stamina.
All projectiles will bounce/ricochet off the armor locked unit.
(future Aghs - move, shoot & cast abilities during Armor Lock)
Shift - changed to sprint for a short duration, increase movement speed while draining 0.25 mana per use
Alt + Shift - normal dash that uses 1 stamina to go a large distance. (Evade)
Plasma Grenade?
Active Camoflage?
Jetpack?
