Knowing that Deadlock takes place somewhere between 1930-1950, I have the idea for a hero named Comek. Based on the fact that this time period was also the same period that comics such as Superman started to release.
Why he is Paige's Antithesis:
Paige uses Bibliomancy. In this context she uses books and the stories they tell for her abilities. Books and stories in general tend to give the reader infinite possibilities when they imagine the scenario in their head. If the author tells of a dragon in the sky, one reader might imagine it as a dragon that often appears in European mythology while another might think of one from Chinese mythology. So words have infinite forms of imagination. If an artist draws a dragon. You instantly know that the dragon is red, long, has 4 longs, and etc. Unlike words, art locks you into a singular form of imagination.
So while Paige would represent the right to interpret. Comek would represent the right to define.
Where he could fit in the game:
Although he could easily be implemented in the game with his own story. I think it would be fitting to make him the missing brother (Bryce) that was dabbling with dangerous powers. With Comek changing his appearance to prevent Paige from recognizing him. With the magic being dangerous due the various restrictions placed upon himself due to the set results.
Proposed Abilities: Comic Book Themed (Not proposing a set, just abilities he could have)
Gun: His gun could be similar in velocity and shooting speed as Paige's but instead he shoots empty action bubbles.

Passive Ability: Unlocking this ability fills the once empty action bubbles. For every bullet hit on a player in a row, within a certain time frame, do increased damage per shot. This can be represented in a combo like way. With every hit changing the onomatopoeia contained in the action bubble.

Forced Path Ability: This ability would be a placeable ability similar to Venator's trap. When stuck in it you would be forced to either not move or move straight forward. Pressing any movement key will force you to walk along the forced path. You would still be able to jump. Perhaps this could take the form of a long comic panel on the ground.

Complete The Panel Ultimate: Similar to Doorman's ult, this would drag you into a separate area. While here you will be need to complete the panel. Complete as in there will be a grey void spot somewhere that fits the silhouette of your character. Standing there will release you from the ult.
