Post Maelstrom New York left the existing institutions in a perplexing situation. For some it became apparent there were new weaponized applications like with Fairfax industries. Some saw it as an opportunity to challenge the status quo, and others like Red saw an opportunity to help people. With the paranormal and occult seemingly transitioning into everyday life, firefighters were having an uptick in calls, as well as the workload they performed as well. Red himself saw the development of hydropacks, backpacks infused with technology borrowed from Fairfax's already made work in order to readily transport large amounts of water in an individual fire fighter, without adding in the weight. The power-axe, a modified version of a fireman's axe that allows any wielder to bust through a barricaded entrance with the strength of 10 men was another common tool developed. The last major development was their fire coats - imbued with magical energies and runic carvings, this allowed these brave individuals to charge head first into any dire situation with minimal risk due to their protective nature. Now that the patrons are making their appearance, its time for Captain Red to answer the call of duty once more.
Weapon -
Captain red uses his trust hydropack as his primary weapon of choice. Operates in a stream mechanic but unlike grave's attack latching on automatically, it arc's similarly to McGinnis ultimate, displaying typical pressurized fluid mechanic's.
Ability 1 -
Poweraxe buster
Red charges forward with the power axe drawn, swinging it in powerful arc. later upgraded versions of the ability do additional damage to enemies with shield's applied.
Ability 2 -
Spray it down
Red opens up the hydropack and bursts an area with water, leaving it soaked. The idea is to be an aoe dampening effect/damage with a movement modifier that causes the area to become slick (IE, slip and slide, less controllable focused movement).
Ability 3 -
Hero's coat
Passive ability, increases the base health of red, but also applies additional regen to red based on how many debuff's are being applied to him.
Ultimate ability
Five alarm fire
Red rings the alarm and jump's into action. This ultimate is about providing a team wide AOE buff to movement, health, regeneration, and defense. At the end of the day he is a firefighter and is about saving lives.
