[Hero Concept] Blanket - Pure Melee Assassin

Passive
Downwards Dash on this character is extremely fast (will go straight down, could cost a full bar of stamina)

Primary Attack (Left Click)
A stab attack with lenient range (Potentially no headshot damage)

Secondary Attack (Right Click)
A lunge attack that will consume stamina bars if you continue to hold down the right click past the initial threshold. If you hit no enemies upon end, slow Blanket by 30-50% for 1.5 seconds. The range of the lunge may scale with movement speed.


1. Updraft

Knock enemies directly behind you backwards as you become airborne with fair air controls until touching the ground.

2. Disguise
Turn into a copy of an ally minion. Exiting this form by any means (damage threshold, or by clicking 2 again will fear any nearby enemies)

Cannot use this ability if you've taken damage within 5 seconds.

Can do this anywhere on the map (no minion in view required)

3. Despair - Passive

Attacking an enemy with your primary attack or secondary attack will apply a stack of Despair on them, slowing them slightly, upon applying three stacks on an enemy, Blanket gains movement speed and the enemy takes true damage.

Hitting an enemy with your secondary attack when they have two stacks will instead flip the enemy behind Blanket stunning them for 0.25 seconds.

Your Melee will steal a portion of unsecured souls from an enemy.

4. Marionette Lunge.

Perform a spinning tornado lunge with good range, use it at an enemy to damages the first person hit, Blanket will also bind to the enemy player becoming un-targetable similar to Rem. (Can see the Ghost Marionette on the afflicted player) The enemy character will have healing reduction while Blanket is bound to them, and Blanket will be given a plethora of new abilities that they can press. 1 will remove a stamina bar from the bound player (Multiple uses), 2 will apply a stack of Despair on the bound enemy (Multiple uses), 3 will Curse the enemy for 1-2 seconds (One time use), and 4 will detonate an AOE attack around the enemy fearing enemies in range and force Blanket out (This should be used last)
Blanket will be bound to the enemy for 5 - 8 seconds.
Pressing Space Bar will cause Blanket to end the Ultimate early and jump out of the enemy.

Game plan / Combos:

Basic:
With Despair, Primary attack an enemy twice to apply two stacks of Despair , Secondary Attack (Lunge) them to flip them behind you allowing teammates to follow up with ease.

Extended Combo: Same as Basic combo but after the flip, use Updraft to knock them even further back - you will now be airborne, determine your next best play from here.

Even More Extended Combo: Same as Extended Combo, but while Airborne use the Marionette's Lunge to re-engage onto an enemy below while severely debuffing them (removing their stamina, cursing them and then finishing them off upon exiting the ultimate)

Surprise Attack: Use Disguise to sneak into another allies lane as a minion, attempt to sneak behind an enemy in order to fear them towards your team, the enemy may attempt to run, but during the fear, you should have already applied 1-2 stacks of Despair, either Primary Attack to initiate the final proc of Despair and do some true damage burst and gain move speed or use Secondary Attack lunge to flip them behind you into Updraft.
Soul Robbery Combo:
Use Disguise and fear an enemy, this guarantees at least 1 light melee to steal some unsecured souls, Updraft into an escape.

Blanket can always re-engage when they've got Disguise ready to use.

Use the Marionette abilities depending on what is required during the fight.
