First off, I just wanna say that I'm terrible at digital art so please excuse the pencil drawing instead.
This concept came to me as I was considering the setting, 1940s NYC in a gothic noir fantasy vibe. Then I remembered America's favorite past time: Baseball!
Enter, our very ownBabe Ruth Bambino! IRL, George "Babe" Ruth was a legendary left handed B-Ball player from the 30s, so I figured we should have a character at least inspired by him. Make him Ixian, or half-Ixian like Infernus for more representation and also because Babe Ruth was Dominican IIRC. This would also likely give him a unique spin, since Ixian's tend to have some control over fire.
M1 - Charge to throw a baseball at your enemies, increasing range by 10% and damage by 15% at max charge. 5 balls, and they can bounce off your enemies in random direction. Scales off melee, and the balls can be parried
Q (Melee/Heavy Melee) - Smack em with your bat, similar to Billy. But in more of a B-Ball stance
F (Parry) - Parry balls and hits with your catchers mitt
Concept abilities:
1) Batters Up; Perform an un-blockable Heavy Melee which scales off weapon damage. 15s CD. Damage scales off weapon power.
+1/ Increase Base Damage by 25. +2/ Add 2 additional charge. +5/ Hitting an enemy now slows them by 60% for 3s.
2) Blazing Pitch; Rapidly throw 3 charged balls. They each gain bonus damage, scaling off Spirit power. 35 second cooldown.
+1/ Reduce cooldown by 10 seconds. +2/ While pitching, gain 25% addition bullet resist. +5/ Throw an addition 2 balls per pitch.
3) Passive - Blasted Balls; Balls you throw at the enemy explode 1.5s after the bounce off. Scales with Spirit Power.
+1/ Balls will explode 1 second sooner after hitting their target. +2/ Explosion gain +20 base damage. +5/ Explosion from balls now have twice the radius.
4) Home Run; For 10m, as you move around, you leave a path behind you that friendlies can follow. This buffs their movement speed, and bullet resist both by 15%. (effects creeps too)
+1/ Add 5 meters to the path, and apply a 10% heal for its duration. +2/ When Home Run ends, gain a barrier worth 25 points per ally that used it. +5/ Add another 5 meters to the path, and double the bullet resistance granted by it.
