Background:

Pavel was a legendary stage performer and a wealthy mogul in Russia. Upon arriving in New York, the magical surge stripped him of his body and memories. Now, he is a tall, smoky silhouette in a top hat and monocle—an aristocrat with no past, stealing the essence of others to feel alive again.

Abilities (The Theft):
Umbra builds his kit by robbing his enemies of theirs.
  • Abilities 1, 2, 3: Steal the enemy's 1st, 2nd, and 3rd ability slots.
  • Ultimate (4): Steals the enemy's Ultimate.
The "Pickpocket" Mechanic:
  • Umbra launches a shadow tentacle. If the link isn't broken within 1s, the ability is stolen.
  • Silence by Theft: The victim cannot use the stolen skill while Umbra holds it. Their UI shows the ability bound in shadow chains.
  • Passive Stealing: If a skill has a passive effect, Umbra gains it for only 15s before it returns to the owner.
  • Scaling: All stolen abilities scale with Umbra’s Spirit Power.

Easter Eggs & Visuals:
  • The Mask: During a killstreak, Umbra’s portrait changes into a theatrical mask with a glowing monocle.
  • MVP Pose: On the victory screen, Umbra mimics the signature pose of a random Deadlock hero (of the Doorman for example).
