Healing Booster does not provide the stated healing bonus value

Healing Booster's 20% passive increase to your healing effects is flawed for Restorative Locket, Healing Nova, Veilwalker, and Radiant Regeneration. Instead of the 20% increase, it equates to ~12% for all three of the aforementioned items (at max Boons).

Other users (Stack Man, Theatre, ChuaMC) made posts involving this interaction alongside with Ivy's Watcher's Covenant ability and found the same issue. It appears to be related to the Boon scaling of the aforementioned items, such that the healing booster only applies to the original base healing value and not the increase associated with Boons.

Abilities that don't have Boon related scaling are unaffected by this. However, others have reported mixed results of abilities that seem to be amplified in some situations (Viscous Cube, Dynamo Rejuvenating Aurora)

Seems that this has likely been bugged for quite some time!
 
This has a simple fix btw, it can even be modded in

In the data files of each item, they just need to switch the order of these lines.

There was a similar post a while ago and tested this fix by modding it, and it worked wonders.

Putting this here in case it was missed last time.

Thanks for the comment! Yes I saw this explanation on other posts and I'm glad we are aware of what the issue is.

Now we just need valve to fix it... lol.

It also appears to be bugged with the regeneration part of Radiant Regeneration, so it is ALSO bugged with spirit scaling (or at least some spirit scaling values, Dynamo 3 seems okay?).
