Hi,
Haze's kit has always been controversial, when she's strong she becomes the ultimate pug slayer while still bad in organized play and when she's weak (like rn) she just doesn't exist. Also her ult doesn't suit the invisible-dreamwalking-assassin archetype, and some could also realistically argue fixations doesn't either. Valve showed us through last patch that she's still a work in progress so I'm wondering what canges could be done.
Do we want an m1 carry or an assassin?
Here's a list of reworks I could think of :
Dagger :
- If the dagger hits someone from the back the minimal sleep time gets significantly extended.
Fixation :
- Fixation could be removed for another passive which amps your damage towards CC'd enemies (make it half as strong for soft CC like slow (amp don't stack until t3 or don't stack at all)). Might be confusing about what actually procs it and tbf i'm not against keeping fixation as it is.
Bullet dance :
- the bullet dance animation doesn't suit the new cone AOE, and cartoon ult has been removed. with no real escape in her kit I think we could afford more movespeed during 4, she could stay on her two legs and keep her mobility (or atleast lose less). I think it's the most realistic change considering recent rework.
- A more lore-accurate ult based on her dreamwalking abilities could be a strong buff during which she directly "hits people's minds" or something like that (spirit scaling??). Might be too close to Warden's 4.
- Select a target to bring in a 1v1 arena, representing Haze trying to reach her opponent's psyche while foe tries to resist it. Target receives debuffs and they both disappear from the main map during the fight. Duration still scales on spirit.
Note that all these ideas aren't directed towards a specific playstyle, some of them would benefit assassin playstyle while other would be more carry oriented. Let's just throw ideas in and let Valve cook, I'm kinda excited to see how her kit will look like once reworked.
