Gun is disabled when you disconnect/reconnect

I had to reconnect to a match due to insane lag. When I reconnected, my mouse could look around, but neither button did anything, and my ammo was not visible. I was unable to shoot until I disconnected and reconnected again, putting me at a significant disadvantage for the rest of the game.
